The St. Ambrose chapter of the Knights of Columbus is a catholic male fraternal organization. We do have a sister chapter for any females wishing to join called the Columbiettes. The St Ambrose Council was founded on January 16, 1910. The Knights of Columbus were originally founded by Father Michael J. Mcgivney in New Haven, CT in 1882. It was originally a mutual benefit society to low income immigrant catholic, it later on developed into a fraternal benefit society dedicated to providing charitable services to people in need and promoting catholic education.
