Kona Mountain Home is a unique plantation style house located on 3 acres. It is in Hawaii's serene cloud forest and is walking distance from hike/bike/horseback riding trails through the Honuaula Forest Reserve. Upstairs the home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, an open kitchen/dining/living area, fireplace, a private lanai off a guest bedroom, and an expansive lanai with access from kitchen, living room, and master bedroom. Downstairs is a large new open deck, with a new high quality hot tub, a new BBQ grill, and workout/game room. A separate dwelling, our Ohana, adds 2 more beds, a kitchenette, outdoor/indoor shower, and lanai.

More than a just a house...: Kona Mountain Home offers guests the ultimate vacation experience while also giving a feeling of being home. Our family's dream came true and we hope to share this piece of paradise with you. Our guests don't need to worry about long lines to rent a kayak, or buying/bringing beach chairs, or packing bulky beach towels and coolers in their luggage. Some of our onsite adventure amenities are: Kayaks, Paddle Board, Beginner Surf Board, Body Boards, a long board for beginning surfers, Beach towels, Snorkel Gear, Coolers, Water Coolers, Chairs, & Shade Canopies. Through out KMH you will enjoy unique touches that make our home special, and you will feel the comfort that only high quality products can give. KMH offers a beautiful, intimate setting for any couple, family, and/or friends to enjoy a special retreat as unique as Hawaii itself.

More about KMH : The living room, master and guest bedroom have flat panel TV's with DISH satellite (full package including HBO, Cinemax, and Starz). The master bedroom is furnished with antiques (including an 1870 English Queen Bed), a large bay window, and access to the spacious lanai. The master bath has dual sinks, a soaking tub, and a glass shower. The guest bedroom has a private lanai and beautiful teak furnishings, including a queen size bed. The second guest room has a full and twin bed. Dining tables on the lanai and in the house allow for indoor or outdoor meals. The comfy couch and chair make it easy to cozy up for a movie after a fun day of adventure. The bright, open kitchen is cooking paradise and is stocked with stainless steel service ware, pots & pans, and long stem wine glasses. Appliances include a 5 burner gas glass top stove, side by side stainless steel refrigerator, Cuisinart coffee maker, Cuisinart burr mill coffee grinder, Kitchenaid stand mixer, microwave, & toaster. A small washer and dryer are located on the second floor near the bedrooms and a full size brand new washer & dryer are located in the garage (very convenient for cleaning up after coming in from the beach).
