The Santa Run conducts an annual barbeque, auction, fishing tournament, motorcycle run, amongst other fund-raising, to raise funds in order to provide each child being treated for cancer at the hospital with his or her most desired Christmas gift. The children are given a Christmas party at which Santa
arrives on a motorcycle accompanied by a caravan of other cyclists who make the run from La Salle to San Antonio with presents, a distance of 120 miles.
