Kosciusko County Head Start / Early Head Start

Kosciusko County Head Start provides preschool services throughout the county with sites in Warsaw, Mentone, Pierceton, and North Webster.
We also have our Home-Based Program. A qualified preschool teacher will provide educational and social experiences in the convenience of your own home for an hour and a half each week!
A six hour school day will be provided in our classroom settings. Teachers will promote early childhood education by offering children learning experiences to enhance school readiness goals in social/emotional, cognitive, physical, and language developmental areas.

The Early Head Start Program services children from birth to age three, including prenatal services for expecting mothers. The EHS Program is completely home-based, offering in-home services for an hour and a half each week.
EHS teachers will provide learning opportunities for both children and families in the home setting. Child will work on skills in cognitive, social/emotional, and language developmental areas.
