Kosciusko County Soccer League (KCSL)

The Kosciusko County Soccer League, Inc., KCSL, was founded in 1979 by Terry Hopkins and has been promoting youth soccer every year for over 30 years. KCSL is committed to providing a fun, exciting and instructional opportunity to any child age 5 and up who wants to play soccer.

KCSL focuses on recreation and development of player skills. Our coaches are provided training each season by our Director of Coaching. The DOC is available to work individually with coaches and teams throughout the season, as needed. Our DOC also plans and conducts player mini-camps for skill development.

KCSL uses trained and officials to preside over our season games and end of the season tournament. Our Director of Officiating and league President are heavily involved with the officials to make sure that the games and league run smoothly.

The league is fortunate to have very dedicated coach-volunteers ranging from high school soccer players and college players to chief executive officers of local corporations. Without their generous donation of time the goals of the league could not be achieved.

KCSL works hard to ensure that anyone who wants to participate in the league may do so. As with any not-for-profit organization, resources are limited. KCSL depends heavily on its corporate sponsors to fund the league each season. In 2016, over 30 financial scholarships were provided to children who otherwise would have not been able to participate. The need for financial assistance increases with each year. We are pleased to have the resources within our community to assist those in financial need.

All league activities are conducted at the City-County Athletic Complex on Old Road 30 West of Warsaw.

The past several years the Kosciusko County Soccer League, Inc. has been run by a small group of volunteers. The league is always looking for Board and Committee members.
