The years have taken their toll on the historic Kosciuszko Monument. The bronze sculpture has never been conserved and is in need of significant restoration. Radiography and metal analysis have determined that extensive conservation to both the interior and exterior are necessary to maintain the integrity of the monument and ensure that it survives for future generations.
The Kosciuszko Monument Committee was formed in 2008 to address these issues and raise funds necessary for its restoration.
