My duty as a Coordinator and Planner is to fulfill my clients every need and concern while throwing a breath taking event. I have always loved being a part of parties and gatherings while growing up. I have always been involved in planning birthday parties, school events, work Christmas parties and Relay for Life fundraisers. I have been actively involved in the Santa Maria Relay for Life since 2000; with this event we plan many fundraisers to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society. I took ornamental horticulture, which taught me how to arrange flowers, make bouquets, and assemble boutonnieres & corsages. I began making them for dances at school and even weddings when I was in just in high school. Since 2000, I have helped plan five weddings, numerous birthday parties, made corsage & boutonnieres for dances, created invitations and a put together a huge benefit fundraiser concert for two local cancer patients. In 2011, I planned a fundraiser for my aunt and best friend who were both battling cancer. I booked the venue, the entertainment, and vendors, set up bank accounts in their names and applied for liability insurance. The event was amazing and I was able to raise $10,000 that I split between both of them. The weddings I helped coordinate were all unique and I had different roles in each of them. Some I helped as a Planner and the others I helped with the Day of Coordinating.
I have the privilege to do what I love while making others lives less stressful and happier in the process. Planning glamorous dream weddings and events while assisting the clients with every little detail is what I do best. I truly believe that every event and wedding is unique. I encourage everyone to make their event their own. I’ll be my clients “right hand man” as a Full Event/Wedding Planner or Day-of-Event-Coordinator. Either way I will be there to put the client at ease, while they enjoy their special event. A lot of people ask family and friends to help the day of their event or wedding to ease their stress. Their family and friends then feel like they are apart of the event staff rather than guests and most of the time they will not say NO (even if they want to) so they do not hurt their feelings.

What is the difference between Day of event Coordinator and Full service Planner & Coordinator?
Day-of-event-coordinator is when the client wants to do most of the hard work, planning and booking their vendors, but come event day I would arrive and put all their ideas into action. Some clients think that day-of-event-coordinators “only” job is to show up the day of, but I go a step further to meet with my clients two times before the big day to discuss details, get contact information and I will also attend rehearsal to help coordinate with the officiate. Full service Planner and Coordinator is when the client does not want to worry about any of the booking, scheduling or budgeting for their event. The client just wants to have choices and make the final decision and that’s it. I would be there to assist the client from the moment they contact me, to the end of the event.
