K's Closet - Hillsborough

K's Closet is now open in beautiful downtown Hillsborough, NC! We are a local family owned business with a Handmade Shop, a Fabric & Sewing Supplies Shop, and a Classroom/Event Space.

Our Handmade Shop supports many local makers, and we are always adding more! Each item in our shop was crafted locally, and we have a little bit of everything to offer, included handcrafted apparel and accessories for women and children as well as cards and gifts, Hillsborough decals, hats & cowls, jewelry, balms & teas, play silks, original art, and much more!

Our Fabric Shop has cotton wovens from your favorite designers as well as designer and custom apparel. We print our own fabrics and offer them at preorder pricing at www.facebook.com/groups/fabricandnotions. We also offer the supplies you need the most, so check us out the next time your bobbin runs out.

Our Machine Service & Repair technician is at the shop on Thursdays, but you can drop off your sewing machine during any of our regular retail hours. Jonathon works on most home sewing machines. Please call if you have any questions.

We also offer private and group sewing and crafting classes for all ages and abilities. Register online through our Events page or in store.

K's Closet has a comfy spot for Mommas and babies to take a rest as well as toys for the littles. If you're in town and need a spot to feed the baby or just a safe place to rest, please stop in and see us! Our dressing room has an outlet and can be a safe place to pump if you need.

PARKING: We have our own lot, so come on down!

ACCESSIBILITY: Unfortunately, our classroom is upstairs, and there is no elevator or other way to get to us if you are not able to climb the stairs. We want to make our services available to all people, so if you are in need, please contact us to set up a special appointment, and we will work together to find a way!
