KY Friends of Bluegrass Music Club, Inc.

The Kentucky Friends of Bluegrass Music Club, a non-profit organization, was established in 1979 for the promotion and preservation of Bluegrass Music. The first members numbered 51 and were from the general area of Powell County, Kentucky. It gradually grew to 200 as people became more aware. It continued to grow gradually until Meadowgreen Park Music Hall opened in 1986, where our shows are performed. We now stand at over 300 with members joining from outside the boundaries of Kentucky.
