More about L. J. Martin

L. J. Martin is the author of over 40 fiction and non-fiction books, hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles, and the producer of over 120 videos. He’s a co-publisher of 400 plus books as Wolfpack Publishing (www.wolfpackpublishing.com). He’s a past member of the Society of Professional Journalists and a variety of professional organizations relating to his real estate career and a current member of Western Writers of America, Mystery Writers of America, International Thriller Writers, and Western Fictioneers. His belief in America and the free enterprise system was fostered through a half-century business career, much of which was spent in real estate as a self-educated licensed broker, appraiser, and general contractor. Prior to retiring from that endeavor, his last year involved over one hundred million dollars in transactions and his career involved a number of small businesses with up to eighty employees. He lives in Montana with his wife, a NYT bestselling author of romantic suspense. When not writing and extoling the virtues of self-reliance, he’s hunting, fishing, cooking, gardening, travelling with his cameras, or enjoying his children and grandchildren. He’s a cook, having been one for both vocation and avocation, and a top restaurant reviewer on tripadvisor.com. The Martin’s winter in California on the central coast. They’ve travelled a good part of the world, for both pleasure and research, and have just returned from Russia, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Holland and Estonia. Writing is his vocation and politics and trying to maintain America as the go-to country in the world, and Americans’ freedom and self-reliance for you, your children, and your grandchildren, is his avocation and driving passion. His books can be found at www.ljmartin.com. From a latch key kid raised in a broken home in county housing, to a degree of financial comfort, he knows America is exceptional and the land of opportunity. It’s his fervent beliefs: hard work makes a man, hand out palm up forsakes a man; success is earned; and you can’t help others until you help yourself. God bless and keep America strong.
