La Luz Center

Founded in 1990 by Ligia Booker, La Luz was originally a loose organization that met the great need of connecting the Latino community in the Sonoma Valley to various resources. While La Luz was originally founded to help the Latino community, it is La Luz policy to serve anyone who asks for help, meaning that the population we serve includes individuals and families, ages birth to 100, of any ethnicity or background. However, we are the only resource in the Sonoma Valley where monolingual Spanish speakers can seek help, and many of our programs are targeted towards this population.
