La Nueva Flor de Michoacan

Carmen Valenzuela started making apples in March 2010 form her kitchen at home. Soon after that she built up an exciting client list she started selling them for private parties and events. Her first apple and the most popular on is the tamarindo pulp wrap on top of a premium granny smith apple. The apple became the perfect blend of chile spices and soon became a crowd favorite.

Carmen worked her way up dreaming of the possibility of opening up a shop here in the Phoenix Valley. After 2 years of plugging away at her apple business she bought out Flor de Michoacan on Arizona Ave in Chandler, Az in November of 2012. From there Apple Mimis LLC formally became a business and currently operates Flor de Michoacan which has been at that location for the past 12 years.

At Flor de Michocan you can find the best natural Ice Cream, paletas, and aguas frescas along with a variety of delicious Mexican snacks and of course Apple Mimis extensive apple line of chocolate, caramel, and tamarindo covered apples.
