La Plata Business Association

On behalf of the LPBA Board of Directors and fellow members we would like to welcome you to follow the growth of the La Plata Business Association. We hope that you take full advantage of the knowledge, experiences, and support that the members of the LPBA have to offer.


The goal of the LaPlata Business Association is to promote the town of LaPlata as a destination to live, eat, play and shop. Joining together as one voice, business members hope to better represent the best interests of the business community and create an action plan for tackling top priorities as decided by its members. These include, but not limited to, revisions to the Town Code regarding signage, the creation of marketing events to promote local shopping, and improvements to create a pedestrian friendly atmosphere on Charles Street. Membership dues have been set at $25 annually and all LaPlata businesses are welcome. “We are excited to have an organization promoting the needs of LaPlata businesses and for increasing the commercial viability of the town,” says Keith Grasso.

Managing a local business is not easy. The LPBA offers support and advocacy for all members on any issues affecting the success of our mission. Please do not hesitate to contact the president, Keith Grasso or other members when an inevitable roadblock occurs. Many of us have already faced similar issues and can offer advice and recommendations on how to continue on your road to success.
2014 will be the first year the LPBA is active since 2012. We welcome your opinions, concerns, and experiences. As we begin to tackle the top issues please consider joining a committee or volunteering your time.
With your voice, the LPBA will be as strong and effective as ever.
