The racial makeup of the CDP was 60.59% White, 24.24% African American, 2.23% Native American, 0.07% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 9.74% from other races, and 3.05% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 37.55% of the population.There were 417 households out of which 47.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.0% were married couples living together, 20.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.8% were non-families. 19.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.23 and the average family size was 3.66.
