Lafayette General provides quality medical care, on a walk-in basis. The board-certified physicians and staff at the walk-in clinics treat a wide range of minor emergencies and illnesses such as:
- Sprains
- Minor cuts and burns
- Cold and flu symptoms
- Allergies
- Fever
- Sore throat
- Earache
- Upset stomach
Lafayette General's Urgent Care Centers also offer immunizations, such as the flu shot, x-rays, lab draws, annual check-ups and employee physicals on a walk-in basis.
It is the policy of our Urgent Care Centers to treat persons one year of age and older. Children under one (1) year of age can be susceptible to a variety of ailments and need to specifically see a pediatrician. Lafayette General Medical Center offers a Dedicated Pediatric Treatment Area within the Emergency Room. The Pediatric Treatment Area is open every day from 11am - 11pm and is staffed by pediatricians.
