Lagoon Valley Adventure Camp's primary goal is to build confidence and encourage good teamwork. The lead instructors have a military background including ranger and Special Forces and they use these learned skills to teach discipline and focus. Also the student instructors are all certified rescue technicians that train together on a weekly basis. The obstacle course we use throughout the camp teaches coordination, builds individual skills, and also builds team work. In the duration of the camp students get the opportunity to ride horses, run through the obstacle course, practice archery, train and have some fun in the pool, rappel from our 16 foot tower, go down the zip line, and go to lake Solano for a day for water wars in the rubber rafts. We also integrate rescue techniques, basic survival training, and some basic medical training into the course to provide the students with some very useful experience to have throughout their lives.
