Pastor Larry and Diana Elies founded Lahaina Christian fellowship in the late 60's. Over the
following five decades LCF has seen many changes, however the Lord has been consistent through it all. The church met in many different locations including schools, warehouses, restaurants, and hotels. During the "Jesus movement" revival many young people came to the Lord.

LCF was the home church to Teen Challenge Maui for 25 years and had been a part of many healed lives throughout that time.

Because Lahaina is a transient town many people have come through LCF and many of those are ministering in different places around the world. We also support ministries here on Maui as well as around the world.

LCF has been able to purchase and build a church building which we moved into in 2007. We currently provide several areas of ministry. We have a Spanish-speaking congregation named Centro Cristiano Mizpa. We also have a variety of Ohana (home) groups as well as ministries to children, youth, and young adults.

What We Believe:

We believe in the God of the Bible and have embraced the salvation provided through His Son, Jesus Christ. We believe God is at work today through the power of His Holy Spirit.




We believe the desire of God's heart is to live in and work through His people today to fulfill His will on earth.




We believe that term “marriage” has only one meaning and that is marriage sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture.




We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with scripture nor the doctrines of the church.
