Lake Butler is located in West Chester Ohio just minutes from I-75. This friendly and family friendly pay lake offers the chance to catch catfish over 50 lbs and more. Lake Butler host many tournaments throughout the summer. These tournaments are for the beginner and veteran anglers of all ages. Lake Butler has a fully stocked bait house for all of your catfishing needs, including a wide variety of live and frozen bait. Lake Butler has a 24 hour kitchen that serves great meals from pizza to cheese fries and snacks for all fisherman.

Lake Butler in addition to tournaments has a weekly, monthly, and yearly jackpot. To participate in these jackpots the price ranges from one dollar to two dollars in addition to your twelve hour ticket fee.

The rules at Lake Butler are very simple and easy to follow. We do not allow any live or dead shad to be used for bait. We also do not allow any type of alcohol to be brought into the lake. Any food or nonalcoholic drink brought with you upon arrival must be in a plastic or aluminum container, no glass. Due to limited parking at Lake Butler, we can only allow your guest/spectators in for free if they arrive in the same vehicle as the paying angler. Lake Butler does allow braided fishing line but you must use a monofilament leader. Only single J hooks are to be used. All fish are catch and release and must be handled with a net.
