Lake Cleone is a tidal lagoon cut off from the sea by the road on one side and fed by Mill Creek on the other. It has a boardwalk and trail for a mile walk around the lake.
The lake is home to over 90 species of birds which makes it a great place to do some birdwatching. Take the trail around the lake with a checklist of birds and plants and see how many you can identify.
Lake Cleone is also a beautiful spot to fish. The lake is home to bass and trout if you can catch them before the Osprey do!
Bring a picnic, a fishing pole, binocculars, your walking shoes and your family and enjoy your day at the lake!"
