Lake Dallas is a city in Denton County, Texas, United States. The racial makeup of the city was 89.51% White, 3.32% African American, 0.63% Native American, 0.94% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 3.84% from other races, and 1.74% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 9.83% of the population.There were 2,261 households out of which 43.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.9% were married couples living together, 12.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.3% were non-families. 20.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.72 and the average family size was 3.17.
