Lake Elsinore Historical Society

The Lake Elsinore Historical Society was conceived and organized in 1996. Today, there is a museum in historic downtown Lake Elsinore. It is located in the basement of the City of Lake Elsinore's Cultural Center at 183 North Main Street. The Museum is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. This building is currently being retrofit to be earthquake compliant. In the interim, a temporary museum is located at 15891 Grand Avenue, Suite #1, and is referred to as the Grand Avenue Museum. It will be open the same hours as the downtown museum and as shown above.
