At Lake Norman Toastmasters we use a proven system that takes the fear out of public speaking and replaces fear with confidence and competence.

We use two manuals which guide and teach a new member through the process of learning new communication skills and leadership and listening skills on a very low gradient. Once a member completes those manuals, they can choose Advanced manuals. These advanced manuals include Speaking on TV and Radio, Technical Speeches, Keynote Speeches, Inspiring an Audience, Reading out Loud and even Storytelling. There are over 30 manuals in total to choose from.
