Lake View Community Church is a faith community rooted in the Church of the Brethren.
We meet for worship Sundays at 10 am inside the Lake Meade Community Center at Lake Meade in East Berlin, PA. There are also small group Bible studies, a worship music team, Men's and Women's Fellowships, and various community service opportunities outside the weekly large group worship gathering.
Our weekly gathering uses blended music (hymns, choruses, modern worship) with participation from volunteers, including children, who also have a Children's Church to attend for part of the morning. Some people dress up, others dress casual; there is no set dress code. Babies and children are encouraged to attend and participate. Men and women are both welcome to take leadership roles.
The congregation is comprised of Christians and seekers; members, associate members and friends; people from Brethren background, other denominations, or no previous religious affiliation; children and parents, singles and married couples, ranging in age from 0 - 90.
As of May 2015, Larry Reinertsen, D.Min. has been serving as the Pastor.
