Vision City of Lake Worth is an independently owned Optometry office with an on site One-Hour optical lab and. We are excited to announce that we are expanding to add Vision Therapy to the many services that we already provide. The Lake Worth Eye School will be opening May 2014! It is our passion to help all children that are struggling with learning problems, and with strabismus to learn how to control their eyes and increase their self confidence.
Dr.Trina Lieske and Dr. Jon Valamides are both therapeutic and glaucoma certified Optometrist. In addition to performing routine eye exams, our doctors can also treat infections and minor emergencies of the eyes, monitor and diagnose diabetic retinopathy, diagnose and treat glaucoma, monitor and diagnose macular degeneration, administer customized Vision Therapy Programs and so much more.
We believe that our patients benefit greatly from our passion to keep up with the latest in technology. You find the latest in diagnostic technology at Vision City of Lake Worth. Our newest additions this year include the Optical Coherence Tomogropher (OCT) and the Readalyzer. The OCT is irreplaceable for scanning the layers of the retina and beneath it, to reveal retinal detachements, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma. Hopefully you will never need this technology, but for our patients' sake, we have it just in case. The Readalyzer is an awesome instrument that tracks the eyes while reading to assist in diagnosing the source of reading and learning problems. Helping kids to overcome learning difficulties is a big passion of Dr. Lieske's and the reason why she has spent hundreds of hours in classrooms out of state this year to bring this technology to our community!
We are conveniently located on the edge of Fort Worth and Lake Worth and we serve all of the surrounding communities such as Saginaw, Azle, Springtown, Northside & White Settlement.
