Lakeville Ames Arena was built in 1994 as a single sheet ice arena. A second sheet of ice was added in 1999. The arena is currently home to the Lakeville North High School Boys and Girls hockey teams as well as the Lakeville Hockey Association. During the spring months the arena also offers artificial indoor turf rental as well as dry floor rental for events such as Home and Garden Shows, Tae Kwon Do Competitions, Dog shows as well as others.
