Lambs Chapel Vision
1. In all things Jesus Christ is lifted up, honored, and exalted. John 12:32. "And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself."
2. The Manifest Presence of God (His Love) is here. John 14:21, "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him."
3. Peace is upon the people. John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
4. A gathering of people eager and excited to meet with and obey God. Acts 2:46-47, "So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved."
5. There is joy unspeakable and full of glory. 1 Peter 1:8-9, " Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
6. Purity of Heart and purpose. Titus 2:11-14, "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope -- the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good."
7. A place where a stranger can come and feel the welcoming love of Jesus. Matthew 25:35, "for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;"
8. A people living in the rest of God. Hebrews 4:9-10, "There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his."
9. There will be signs, miracles and wonders. Hebrew 2:3-4, "how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will."
