Landmark Inn State Historic Site

The site offers unique historic lodging at the award-winning inn. Built in the 1840s and expanded in the 1850s, the inn’s restored buildings and grounds provide five scenic acres of paths to stroll and gardens to enjoy. The location is within walking distance of shops and restaurants and the site offers complimentary bicycles for touring historic Castroville,TX.

Guest rooms are uniquely decorated with select pieces ranging from 19th-century furniture to 1940s light fixtures, and offer true simplicity of the past. Each room has occupant-controlled heating and air conditioning, but in keeping with the traditions of older inns, they have no televisions or telephones. A continental breakfast is served every morning.

For day users, the site offers guided and self-guided tours, exhibits and numerous recreational opportunities, including fishing and picnicking.
