With 25+ years of experience, my focus and primary background is Classical Dressage up to 4th level. I've had the privilege of studying under such notable trainers as Jessica Starck, Kim Barteau, Enrique Martinez and Jeurgen Helmut. Prior to that, I studied Eventing (under Olympic short-listed rider Cathy Weisschoff) and Hunter/Jumper for many years.

I have a BS in Equine Science (Midway College, Midway, KY) and was an Adjunct Professor at Kishwaukee Community College (Equine Degree). Currently, I am working on my Level 1 certifications for Straightness Training with Marjike deJong.

When teaching students, all begin work on balancing physically in the saddle, and then we move on to balancing our horses, both physically and mentally. Public/private lessons available, as well as training on site.
