Laura Lollar (formerly Laura Benjamin) is a writer/author, coach and facilitator living in the woods near Colorado Springs, Colorado. She owns CommunicateColorado.com, CabinMama.com (humor blog) and WildfireSurvivors.com.

Laura's company, Communicate Colorado LLC is a Better Business Bureau A+ rated Accredited Business. Veteran-owned since 1997, Laura is a member of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF).

Since 1997, Laura has facilitated teambuilding, strategic planning sessions, partnering meetings and leadership/staff retreats. She has trained and presented for hundreds of organizations throughout the U.S., Canada, Germany and Great Britain. Clients include the U.S. Army, Colorado Department of Transportation, Spectranetics, State of Florida, Partners in Housing, Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Cabela's, University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Meeting Planners International and many others. Her programs are interactive, humorous and substantive.

As a coach, Laura has helped hundreds of frontline leaders, independent business owners, executives and private individuals with interpersonal communication skills, career and business decisions as well as writing and blogging. Laura is a 2010 graduate of the Leadership Program of the Rockies and a Veteran of the USAF (7 years active duty). She holds a BA from California State University at Sacramento with graduate studies at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Appointed by the Secretary of the Interior, Laura served six years on the Bureau of Land Management's Resource Advisory Council for the Colorado Frontrange.

Laura is a prolific writer and published author. In 2017 she will release four books, including Wildfires of Change: How to Rebound and Rise From the Ashes, and Clear Cut Confidence: How to Raise an Issue and Prove Your Point in Five Simple Steps (Pinehurst Press, 2017).
