Laurel Music Lessons

LML is currently accepting new students for instruction in music theory and on the violin, guitar, piano, and bass guitar.

Laurel Music Lessons is a music education service that strives to provide the very best learning experience for students of all ages. Our goal is to take you from pupil to pro. While we have a very effective learning method, we also personalize your curriculum. This helps to keep the student engaged and excited about their lessons while they progress and increase their skills.

Our instructors, Joshua Rooks and Alexis Frenette, have a combined 32 years of experience with solo, group, and orchestral instruction. They studied music at the University of South Florida. We use multiple methods for instruction such as Essential Elements and the Suzuki method.

As performers, they have played in venues large and small from gazebos to the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City. Joshua and Alexis use their extensive experience in performance and various genres to facilitate your music education. We hope to provide you with the tools you need to reach your musical goals.
