Rivaled in beauty only by The Great Smoky Mountain National Park- the views available from every hole are reminiscent of Laurel Valley’s ridge-side neighbor- Cades Cove. This challenging, yet very playable, 18 hole regulation course features natural meandering creeks, and towering mountains at every turn. Carved out in the bottom of the valley is a wonderful 4 hour experience of golf where you could be accompanied by bears, wild turkeys, deer, hawks and bald eagles!
Laurel Valley Golf Course is located in the gated community of Laurel Valley, offers the most beautiful mountain views of any event venue in the Smoky Mountains. We are conveniently located just five minutes from Hwy 321 in Townsend, the Cades Cove gateway to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, just 25 minutes from the middle of Pigeon Forge, 20 minutes from Mcghee Tyson Airport and a half hour from west Knoxville.
Laurel Valley is a very easy course to walk or ride. It offers multiple tees and is one of the most lady friendly golf courses that you could play.
Laurel Valley Golf Course is designed for all skill levels. Bermuda fairways, bent grass greens and breathtaking views provide for a truly unique and memorable golfing experience.
Measuring just over 6,350 yards, to a 69.7 course rating and a 125 slope, par 70. The course was designed by Ed Ault.

Weddings/Events
Our facility offers a variety of space to accommodate small and large events. The Banquet Room, which is located on the second level, offers tables and seating for up to 60 people, with room for a band/dance floor. Laurel Valley also offers a separate Bar with full bar service, offering beer, wine, and cocktails. The Bar may be rented for exclusive use during your event. The clubhouse is separate from the Golf Shop to ensure your privacy. We offer special pricing structure for events that last multiple consecutive days. For weddings, family reunions, or corporate events that need access to overnight lodging, there are more than 70 luxury vacation homes all within Laurel Valley, ranging from 1 to 7 bedrooms. Our knowledgeable staff can assist with locating cabins, caterers, florists, transportation, and other vendors you may require.
