The lead attorney, Francis Henriquez, is an attorney practicing within the field of immigration litigation and criminal law. The attorney graduated law school in 2012 and began her law practice in 2012. Already she has represented hundreds of families in the immigration courts throughout California. Herself a first generation immigrant from El Salvador, she has first-hand knowledge of the immigration process as her immediate family immigrated to the US during the civil war in El Salvador. With great sacrifice and help from the Latino community and TV networks, she was able to get a state of the art education at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). In 2007, after college, she worked as a paralegal for a prominent immigration attorney in the greater Los Angeles area. Her passion for immigration law and need-based legal service, led her to pursue law school and to obtain a doctorate degree in law. Once in law school, her passion to help the community strengthened as she volunteered for nonprofit organizations helping the immigrant community. She volunteered for organizations such as KIND (Kids in Need of Defense), which help unaccompanied immigrant children and Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project, an organization helping the greater Los Angeles immigrant community.

Upon graduation, she naturally gravitated towards specializing in the practice of Immigration. For the past two (2) years she has personally represented hundreds of families in Immigration Court in Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco and has successfully argued many bond and removal hearings. During the past 2 years, she has been exposed to all the recent changes in immigration law enough to give the community great information regarding all immigration matters.

Francis Henriquez is committed to her pro-bono practice. Annually she provides free legal services to children under the age of 16 who are detained within the children detention centers around the U.S.
