Lawyers Title of Cincinnati

Lawyers Title of Cincinnati, Inc. has been one of the leading title insurance providers for Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana for over 75 years.

Earl W. Griffin, grandfather of Timothy D. Griffin, one of the current owners of Lawyers Title of Cincinnati, Inc., was instrumental in securing the passage of legislation that allowed foreign corporations to issue title insurance in Ohio.

Lawyers Title of Cincinnati, Inc. completed its first business transaction on June 12, 1936. At that time, Earl W. Griffin and Dwight L. Murray were partners in the law firm of Griffin and Murray and owners of Lawyers Title of Cincinnati, Inc.

Dale W. Griffin, son of Earl W. Griffin, and John R. Fletcher (Jack) joined Lawyers Title of Cincinnati, Inc. and the firm of Griffin and Murray after returning from service in World War II and completing law school, both at the University of Cincinnati. Dale and Jack expanded Lawyers Title of Cincinnati, Inc. to the extent that it was involved in many of the largest commercial projects in the city of Cincinnati.

Tim and Mike expanded the scope of operations for Lawyers Title of Cincinnati, Inc. Currently, Lawyers Title of Cincinnati, Inc. has a staff of approximately 50 employees working from two offices. Lawyers Title of Cincinnati, Inc. and its staff handle all types of real estate transactions and constantly strive to maintain an atmosphere of total, personal customer service, a policy of the company since its inception.
