Laxmi Narayan Mandir

Originally founded in August of 1976 and ultimately established on September 12, 1983 by a pioneer group of Fiji-Indian immigrants, this Sanatan Dharma Mandir has become one of California’s premiere and celebrated temples in California and in the United States. This temple is a focal point for Hindu worship, prayer, education, community and family life within the precepts of Hinduism. This temple also provides access to a Hindi school located on the second floor of the back hall provided usually on Sundays free of cost from 12PM to 2:30 PM, yoga teachings by temple priests upon request and a dining hall with a full double sized kitchen and access to restrooms which is available for rent for any wedding and any other Hindu religion based celebrations. Weekly Ramayana lectures and presentation of up to 5 to 7 chapters are held normally every Tuesday starting at 7PM to 8:30 PM ending with Aaarti , Prasadam and Pritibhojan or Dinner served in the back dinning hall. Wedding events and other occasions can be booked by the temple management. Ample parking is available in two separate lots. There are meditation benches located around the temple and in front of the beautiful Shiva water fountain. Monetary donations and volunteers are always helpful, necessary and may help enhance the success of the temple.
