LB Grass Drags

It is time for the 4th Annual LB Grass Drags. This year's proceeds will benefit the Sherry Halker Pink Ribbon Warrior Fund.

For those of you who do not know what grass drags are – snowmobiles race down a 500 foot drag strip. They start from a dead stop and the fastest snowmobile to cross the finish line wins. Last year the fastest snowmobile crossed the finish line at 100 MPH.

The 1st Annual LB Grass Drags was held October 23, 2010. It was in honor of our friend Lance Buettner, celebrating 5 years cancer free. We donated over $9,000 to St. Rita's Regional Cancer Center -- The Little Miracle Fund and The Gerad Foundation for Cancer Treatment.

The event was extremely successful and everyone really enjoyed themselves. During the committee's final meeting, we decided to make the grass drags an annual event with two distinct rules: 1.The name of the event will always be the LB Grass Drags. 2. Each year the committee would chose a different and local charity to benefit from the proceeds.

The 2nd Annual LB Grass Drags was held on Saturday October 15th, 2011. The event was very successful and we were able to donate over $11,000 to the St. Rita's Hospice Fund.
