LBD Socials is a recognized charitable organization under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to LBD Socials are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Established in September 2011, Little Black Dress (LBD) Socials' started from a foundation of friendship. LBD Socials' initial purpose was for women to gather for an evening of wholesome fun and enjoy the simple pleasures of being a woman, all on your own. The evolving demands for support encouraged the need to create a change in order to make a greater impact starting in our homes and our communities. In January of 2015, LBD Socials set its sights on Community Service. LBD Socials has partnered with several organizations such as: Capital Area Food Bank, Calvary Women's Services, Christ House and PG Parks and Recreation. October of 2015 marks another milestone for LBD Socials as it adds Breast Cancer Awareness to its agenda..

LBD Socials' was founded by Jeannette A. Heiligh. She is a Washington, DC native. She began her career as an administrative professional in the federal government which allowed her to fuel her passion for Event Planning. With a keen eye for detail, she became the go to person for annual conferences, holiday parties, birthdays and weddings. Jeannette is finally able to combine her passion with her purpose.
