LBL Equine Rescue

LBL Equine Rescue was founded in October of 2015 by Brittany and Linda. It all started back in 2014 when Brittany wanted to purchase a younger horse to start and train. People had recommended buying at the auction house because it would save a life. Brittany was unsure what that meant so she attended auction a month later. She found a foal and decided she was going to buy him. What Brittany didn't know was that the kill buyer had other plans for him. As auction started, Brittany picked a seat and waited for the foal to come up. Brittany had never attended auction before so she didn't quite know what to expect. The auctioneer spoke extremely fast while the foal trotted around the pen. Brittany didn't want to start too high but before she could bid she heard "SOLD". Brittany was devastated and begged the lady to sell him to her but unfortunately she had other plans for him. Little did Brittany know that the colt had gone to a kill buyer. Once she found out, Brittany decided to dig up information on how to save these horses from slaughter and that's how LBL Equine Rescue was started.
