Since 1936 LC Industries has provided meaningful employment opportunities for people who are blind. As the nation’s largest employer of people who are blind, LC Industries operates in 14 states, including 8 manufacturing facilities that produce well over 2000 items. With 2 distribution centers and 31 retail stores operating on military bases, LC Industries serves all branches of the armed forces.

Operating under the support of the AbilityOne Program, LC Industries manufactures many products under theSkilcraft brand which is the trade name for National Industries for the Blind (NIB). NIB and LC Industries work in cooperation to provide job opportunities to people who are blind or severely disabled while producing quality products and services for the federal government. LC Industries maintains a long standing, mutually beneficial relationship with the federal government and provides these employment opportunities through job training and upward mobility to develop a rewarding career.
