Leadership Neosho

The mission of LEADERSHIP NEOSHO is to develop competent and skilled leaders that will take on an active role in addressing opportunities & facing challenges in our community.

Every individual, business and organization in Neosho will benefit from this exciting program. Whether a concerned citizen, a member of a local organization or a business leader, each of us prospers when our community prospers, and a corps of dedicated, informed citizens and responsive leaders will be key to that prosperity.

The participants selected for LEADERSHIP NEOSHO are emerging leaders from the community, businesses and professions who have established themselves as having leadership potential, and have shown concern for Neosho’s future.

Participation in LEADERSHIP NEOSHO requires individuals, and their sponsoring organizations, to dedicate time, energy, and talent to the program’s mission. The objective of LEADERSHIP NEOSHO is to prepare concerned people who are willing to identify an area of interest, and then take an active leadership role in our community.

The most important factor for participant selection is identifying individuals most apt to utilize their leadership talents for the long-term benefit of the community. Candidates will demonstrate experience, skill, and desire that indicate leadership potential. They will have a record of involvement in civic activities, business or professional organizations, church groups, or other service opportunities. The candidates selected will have the background necessary to participate actively in, and contribute to, serious discussion about community issues.
