Left Hand Lazy

Left Hand Lazy is a Western Massachusetts based business specializing in locally raised wool products including raw fleeces, roving, and yarn.

LHL products are from locally raised sheep shorn by Aaron and Kristen. Products available: raw wool from various breeds, natural colored yarn and roving available soon.

Why the name 'Left Hand Lazy'? Since LHL wool and yarn come solely from local flocks shorn by Aaron and Kristen, a suitable name would be one that is related to shearing. When shearing, your left hand actually works harder than your right, stretching the skin, moving the wool, etc. When learning how to shear, Aaron was criticized as having a 'lazy left hand'. When it comes to yarn, Aaron and Kristen's left hands are also lazy, not spinning it theirself but sending it to Green Mountain Spinnery to be processed.
