Legacy Dance Co.

Legacy Performing Arts Company is located in Thunder Bay Ontario. We offer quality dance instruction, tumbling, vocal lessons and acting by qualified instructors. We have recently opened our doors to the Thunder Bay community offering lessons to all ages and skill levels.

Legacy offers the most comprehensive dance programs in both novice and competitive levels. Dancers in the novice program participate in a recreational program and have the opportunity to perform and compete locally. Our more intensive training program is for those interested in being apart of the competitive stream. We also help give our students the tools they need to pursue a career in the performing arts. Our extensive dance programs include competitive and novice classes in Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Acro. We also offer strength and conditioning classes. Legacy offers youth classes for those 5 & under who cant wait to get into a dance studio.

The facility features two large studios and a solo studio with mirrors, ballet barres, stereo equipment, a full floor of tumbling mats and tumbling equipment.

Two sessions divide up our year. A Fall Session running September to December and a Winter Session running from January to May. The season culminates in a May recital at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium. Students participate in all local competitions as well as out of town travel for convention competitions.

LPAC offers specialized workshops featuring the industry’s top choreographers where dancers can take part in master classes to enhance their training. Fun, interactive dance birthday parties are also available.

Our instructors guide each participant in a motivational and challenging environment, helping them to achieve their goals. Each participant is placed appropriately within their age group and skill level where they will properly receive the most training and discipline at their level.
