Legacy of The Cross

Legacy will be very much involved with the youth and special need individuals in our community through our “Little Wranglers” program which provides “at risk” youth, physically handicapped and mentally challenged boys and girls of all ages the opportunity to explore programs and activities that would otherwise be unavailable to them.

During their stay at Legacy Ranch, each man will be provided with all their critical aftercare needs. Counseling is provided by Certified, Licensed, Christian, Counseling professionals. These counselors cover anger management, domestic violence, parenting techniques, substance abuse, fatherhood and many other needed subjects.
Legacy uses Equine Therapy, a non-traditional approach involving hands-on activities with horses which teaches relationship building and accountability; the central function of the ranch. Legacy provides our men the opportunity to work and build job skills. They learn how to operate heavy machinery, perform light to moderate construction and learn how to work wholeheartedly, as unto the Lord Jesus Christ. These men are becoming individuals employers’ will seek.
We utilize “Overcomers”, a Christian 12 step program designed to help those struggling with life altering addictions During the 52 week program each resident will come to understand: The warning signs of addiction and chemical dependency…Where the pain in their life came from and what to do about it…God’s process for setting a person free from addiction…The power of Sin…How to deal with shame and guilt…And other life changing issues.
