Legends of Ranching Performance Horse Sale

The Legends of Ranching Performance Horse Sale is a student managed event hosted by CSU Equine Sciences. Our main focus continues to be to offer a high quality education that provides hand-on experiences to students.

Each year we are provided with over 30 young horses to be used by students in the Horse Training & Sales Preparation class. These students train and prepare these horses for the sale in April.

Ranches that provide young horses are also given the opportunity to consign aged performance horses. We typically sell 55-75 head of horses each year.

The sale catalog, photography, marketing and day of management is coordinated by students in the Sales Production class.
