Lemhi Education Project

Lemhi Education Project is a sub-committee of the Lemhi County Economic Development Association. We partner with regional institutions to connect local students to college level classes and technical workforce training that they can do right here in Salmon.

Our Priorities:
-Promoting and supporting locally available degree and certificate programs that focus on employable skills.
-Providing learning services to online learners, such as test proctoring, placement testing, help getting started on applications and financial aid, and helping to connect students to more advanced student services at their college of choice.
-Promoting, organizing, and encouraging community education, such as life-long learning courses, skills classes, professional development courses, etc.
-Partnering with local businesses, social service agencies, and local school districts to better serve the needs of the people in the area.
