The purpose of the Lennox Facebook page is to build parent and community involvement, collaboration, promote learning and share information and resources.
All posting of comments on this page are at the discretion of the page administrators. The page administrators will review all postings to make sure they adhere to both the district’s social media policy and the district’s Acceptable Use Guidelines regarding Internet access and practices.
Posts will be removed if they are not related to the stated purpose of this site. Inappropriate posts include, but not limited to, comments of a commercial nature, political activity, or comments that constitute discrimination or harassment or are directly critical of individual district employees or students.
It is the district’s intention that this page be used for communication that is respectful, courteous and professional, and that users are responsible for the content of their posts.
Due to the nature of social media, the views and comments expressed on this site are those of users and do not necessarily reflect the views of the district. Any user’s reference to a specific commercial product or service does not imply endorsement or recommendation of that product by the district.
We welcome your thoughts and comments and look forward to what you have to say. However, we will remove postings that:
• Break the law or encourage others to do so. This includes respecting copyright and fair use laws.
• Contain abusive or inappropriate language or statements. This includes remarks that are racist, homophobic and sexist as well as those that contain obscenities or are sexually explicit.
• Easily identify students and/or staff in defamatory, abusive, or generally negative terms.
• Do not show proper consideration for others’ privacy or are considered likely to offend or provoke others – i.e. don’t pick fights, bully or goad others into inflammatory debates.
• Are spam – i.e. repeatedly posting the same comment or comments that are simply advertising/promoting a service or product.
