The Lenoir County SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization in Kinston, NC. We are open from 12-4 PM Monday-Saturday, except major holidays. Please call for holiday hours.
We are not affiliated with nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA. Our mission is finding loving homes for the homeless pets at our shelter, preventing cruelty to animals, providing education on responsible pet ownership, and encouraging humane animal control through spay & neuter initiatives.
We receive an average of 8 new homeless pets every single day. Kinston's Petsense graciously keeps several of our cats & kittens at their store to help with adoptions, and the rest are housed at our shelter on Rouse Road. We work tirelessly with other rescue organizations, foster homes, and local adopters to find loving homes for these sweet animals who have found themselves at our shelter.
There are so many ways people can help homeless animals without adopting. Please visit our website, www.lenoircountyspca.org, for more information on how you can make a difference in the life of an animal today!
