Now proudly serving 18 months - 5-year olds in the Lees Summit and surrounding areas, Libby Lane Preschool & Montessori offers two outstanding programs: Toddler/Preschool Program (18 months - 5 years), and our Montessori Program (3 - 5 years).

The Libby Lane experience is chockfull of enjoyable and enriching activities for little learners. Children encounter tons of opportunities to discover and explore in ways that both delight and challenge them to grow. Both programs are designed to awaken little ones to the joys and satisfaction of learning, while building in lots of enrichment that they find hugely FUN!

With an Ipad in every classroom, each class interacts with technology to document work and fun projects, discover new facts as they research interests, and learn together. Each class also enjoys art classes led by a highly-skilled professional art teacher. Formal instruction is balanced out by child-led projects, and children are given lots of opportunities to express themselves through visual art. Music is also incorporated throughout the day, and becomes a vital part of the learning process.

In addition to these outstanding program features, the new outdoor play area was custom designed by a KU Physical Education PhD-candidate with maximum FUN and healthy activity in mind.
