Liberty High School is a four-year public high school in northern Colorado Springs, Colorado, and part of Academy School District 20. Since then, the band has been rapidly growing in terms of members. The band has moved from placing 12th in state to as high as 1st place in 2016. In 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2016, the Pride of the Lancers Band traveled to St. Louis to compete in the Bands of America Super Regional. They placed as high as 17th overall and 4th in their division.
