"Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well" (1 Thes. 2:8).

Love
We want to see people fall in love with Jesus! In 1 Corinthians 13, we are told that we can have all sorts of great things, but without love, we have nothing. As a church, we will do everything possible to show people the love of Jesus. From the way we greet people in the parking lot, to the way we take care of children, how we worship, and by the power of the preaching we commit to reflect the love of Jesus. Matthew 22: 37-39; 1 Corinthians 13.

Share
We naturally share the things we love with others. People who are in a growing relationship with Jesus are compelled to share how their relationship with Him has completely transformed their lives. We are committed to equipping our people to effectively share the gospel every day at work, school, and in other social interactions through word and action. Matthew 28: 19-20; Acts 1:8.

Live
God created us to live life together. Sharing both the struggles and success we find in life must take place outside the Sunday morning gathering at church. In the New Testament, the church body met in large groups at the temple and also in homes with smaller numbers. The real process of following Jesus happens 7 days a week. It is in this daily process of following Jesus together and loving others along the way that groups of believers mature in faith and service. When a relationship with Jesus becomes the center of our core being, the result is that we seek to serve others as we imitate Him. Acts 2: 46-47, 1 Peter 4: 8-11.


The Vision
The vision of LifePoint Church is to be obedient to the biblical concept of multiplication.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" Matthew 28:19.

God's Vision at LifePoint Church is to:
Multiply Disciples
Multiplication is a concept that is found throughout the Bible. From Genesis, when God commanded Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply, to Jesus in the New Testament multiplying food to feed thousands of people...If multiplication is such a biblical principle, why is the church so bad at it? The last command he gave to his disciples was...MULTIPLY!!!

He is calling US to create an unprecedented ripple effect for God's Kingdom in Oconee County and around the world.

Multiply Churches
Multiplying churches should be a result of our disciple multiplication efforts. We want to be a church that plants churches. Think about it - for example - let’s say that a church meets in a place that holds 300 people. Normally when the church reaches capacity in their worship area, what do they do? They build a bigger space! What if we took the money we pour into space that is used infrequently during the week and used it to plant churches in areas where people need outreach? By transitioning how we allocate our resources, we can reach more people for Jesus. A dynamic multiplication of disciples happens when we focus on specific needs and serve others within the cultural context of each unique community.
