Melissa J. Baker, MSN, APRN-BC • Melissa graduated from Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky in 1992 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing. She has worked for over twenty-three years as an RN in intensive care, outpatient surgery, and home health. During that time, she served on action committees as well as led in supervisory capacities. Melissa graduated in 2005 from Western Kentucky University, in Bowling Green Kentucky with her Masters of Science in Nursing and subsequent national board certification as an advanced practice registered nurse. She has practiced the past ten years in this capacity in both specialty roles and in the field of family medicine. She has excitedly served both overseas and stateside on medical mission trips. Her practice interests include health promotion and disease management. Melissa loves serving people, getting to know them and building relationships. Melissa is active in her church, loves serving the Lord and is happily married with two teenage children. She loves camping, hiking, kayaking, and learning new crafts.
